On October 14, 1992 at the Detroit Historical Museum, the Detroit Historical Society presented Detroit Lodge No. 7 with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of the lodge's "generous in-kind services" toward the Pilot House Project at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum.
