| This service honors all of the sailors
who have served on the Great Lakes and have departed
this earthly life, and also gratefully remembers all
military personnel who have sacrificed their lives to
gain and maintain our freedoms. Shipmasters,
Merchant Mariners, Coast Guard, Navy, Army Corps of
Engineers, Canadian Armed Forces and Mounted Police, and
other Great Lakes-related personnel are invited to wear
their uniforms and participate in the Honor Guard.
Numerous members of the ISMA participated in this year's service, which was officiated by Fr. William Fleming, Rector of Mariners' Church. |
