Westcott Memorial Lighthouse

These are photos of the memorial lighthouse at J.W. Westcott Co., which is dedicated to the memory of lodge member Capt. Cathy Nasiatka and her deckhand Dave Lewis who both died in the tragic sinking of the Westcott mailboat on October 23, 2001. The Captain's wreath was purchased by the lodge for Ron Nelson's funeral and Ron's family requested after the funeral that it be displayed at the Westcott Memorial Lighthouse in memory of all departed Shipmasters. After a few days time, the remnants of the wreath were spread on the waters of the Detroit River.
