Mr. LaMarre explained the multifaceted aspects of the port that merges maritime shipping, truck transportation and rail service. After the presentation, the attendees were driven around the port facilities and shown in real life the sights described during the power point presentation. The tour concluded with a visit to the Tug Wisconsin, which serves the port by providing ship tows and ice breaking services. Upon departure from the port, the lodge members adjourned to the Harbor Inn and Ale Restaurant in nearby Bolles Harbor for lunch.
