Tuesday April 9, 2024: ISMA Detroit Lodge No.7 meeting at Mariners Church 170 East Jefferson Ave. Detroit, MI 48226. Board of Directors meeting will begin at 11:00 am Lunch will be served 12:00 pm followed by Guest Speakers at 1:00 pm followed by a membership meeting. Our guest speakers at this meeting will be Melissa Kropfreiter and Deanna Fielder of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District. Deanna Fielder is a physical scientist and lead forecaster for Great Lakes water levels for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District. She received her master’s degree from Michigan State University and her bachelor’s degree from Oswego State University in meteorology. She spent her childhood in Upstate New York and was a frequent visitor to Lake Ontario and Lake Erie before moving to Michigan, where she was able to travel to the rest of the Great Lakes. Saturday, June 8, 2024 - All ISMA members are invited to a celebration on the grounds of the J.W. Westcott Company to commemorate the company's 150th season of operation. The day will include an Open House from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. There will be a presentation and video by lodge member John Polacsek detailing the company's historic timeline. Food & Drinks compliments of The J.W. Westcott Company.
